Spending this week in Key West. Will be t oasting America’s birthday despite my existential dread due to the Cheeto. What are your plans for the fourth?

Wine in a can in a strange concept to me. Like, I know it’s supposed to keep better and if it’s bubbly, it won’t go flat, but it also seems classless . It's also more chuggable from a can, which is both good and bad.

Absolutely. A sparkling rose sounds good, actually. How much was that can? The only canned wines I've seen have been craft wines (which is a thing now?) at like seven bucks for twelve ounces.

I’m on-call today, so no alcohol for me. I've had every other holiday off so far, so it's only fair. I probably won't have to do anything anyway.

I actually have no idea. I discovered this a couple weeks ago at pride and my cans were gratis. At the hotel they charged me 8.5 and I know that is stupid  hotel price.

I’ll watch some fireworks later, as the city and university teamed up for a fireworks show this year which they’re shooting off almost literally  behind my house. While 20,000 people will have to drive and park to partake , I’ll just walk out to the end of my backyard at the appropriate time.
